After eight weeks of therapy, the waist circumference in Group R was statistically significantly smaller than that in Group C, and the body mass index in Group R was statistically significantly lower than in Group C.
From these, adding RE therapy to the standard-of-care was inferred to be effective in improving obesity in patients with metabolic syndrome.
